MACTASTIC
...shared the neck of my beer with my computer about a week or two ago.

Have yet (knock on wood) to experience any ill side effects.

Becoming ever more impressed with Apple's durability as well as their
marketing (anyone seen the new "Why you'll love a mac." campaign? ... - go to apple.com).

Mac truly is a superior beast.

I know that dude from somewhere... *thinks* ... "Jeepers Creepers"!...

I looked around apple.com seeing as I'm in the market for a new computer anyways and was stunned to see the extend to which the Power Mac G5 systems go... 16GB of memory!?!?!?!?!... Holy crap... Didn't even know they could go that high :D (I'm aiming for a pathetic 4GB of memory :P)

Now... Please... For the love of God... Tell me you don't own a Power Mac G5 with 16GB RAM and a Quad-core processor :D (Cause my heart can only take so much ;) )

	Heh, I spilled a liter of water on the keyboard of my PowerBook two weeks ago, I shut it down in a hurry (the screen shorted though) took it apart and let it dry out, later that evening it started up like nothing had happened. The durability is spectacular. (Reply to this)

Hey, i'm a PCer! You're lucky that I actually work for Apple! :P I even get a 25% discount on Apple products! Still, I don't know if I'll get a Mac. Anyone want my discount? I did get an iPod Nano though.

Anyway, the new Intel based Macs are kind of nice. You can even install Windows on them. That might sway me to get a mac in the future.

P.S. I doubt K8e has a quad G5 with 16GB RAM, even my work machine is only a dual G5 with 6GB RAM!

	well im a PC user, but i have nothing against mac's. 3 of my closest friends are mac users. I just enjoy building my own computer, and i prefer Creative as a company for mp3 players. and yes macs are a lot more durable then a pc, ive broken my computer atleast 3 times in the past 6 months. had to replace the motherboard, power supply and then the fan. but i like to tinker :-P (Reply to this)

	I just randomly stumbled across this today, and I had to pop in and comment on how utterly cool it is that you have an LJ. I'm also in complete agreement on the superiority of Macs. Macs own PCs. nods I've grown up on Macs but had to start becoming familiar with PCs once I got to college and found a PC in the dorm room. It was quite a culture shock. (Reply to this)

	Mac is a good solid computer. My spare is a Mac with Novell Linux Desktop 9. Never get hacked and great for games. But I am fond of my Dell - because I can repair/get parts for easier. Haven't mixed it with beer yet though! (Reply to this)
