BATMAN BEGINS!!!
IT SURE DOES!!!

Went to see Batman on Wednesday night. It ROCKED!!! so very very much! Anyway...that aside...not too much has been happening...I haven't started work on she's the man yet (and yes I will be working with Amanda Bynes a little bit, yes I have met her already at a read through, and yes, she seems very nice.) My first day on set is (i believe) the 13th of July. I'm also working the rest of that week. Unfortunately it happens to be right in the middle of a 3 week dance intensive that I'm supposed to be doing...oh well. Should be fun anyway...and I'll still get my other 2 weeks uninterrupted (knock on wood). Other than working at the warehouse...the occasional shift at the gym, and auditions here and there...I've mostly just been reading the 5th Harry Potter...WOOOT!! I love these books...but don't anyone say anything, because I'm only about half way through the damn thing...freakin encyclopedia!! Oh well...I know I'll be bitter once it's over that it wasn't long enough...such is life.

Hoping very hard that the weather will turn around...it's been quite miserable here for the last few weeks...but that just means that August and September are bound to be spectacular. Such is the precedent anyway. Oh BOOOO!! ....sorry...."So this is Christmas" by Lennon just came on....and it's such a sad song...not to mention it's like July!! Crazy pantses!! ...SWEEET!! We skip ahead to "Welcome to the Machine"!! HUZZAH!!

Anyway...as I was saying, I hope the weather improves so I can get outside to play again. Maybe I'll go surfing or something...since it's raining anyway. Oh right...Sunday is father's day...almost forgot. Woops...So let this serve as a reminder to you all...don't forget your dad's on Sunday...or they might be sad, and then you will feel guilty. And nobody wants to feel guilty on father's day.

I did an interview recently for www.radiofree.com which was really excellent. Usually interviews are so one sided. All the interviewer wants to know about is one specific show, or the other people on said show, or your sex life. I was interviewed by Michael Lee, and he was refreshingly disinterested in what scandalous goings on had been occuring between super stars I had worked with. A most satisfying, and entertaining interview. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

Hey Katie,

Too bad about your crappy weather, but it almost seems that when its crappy in Vancouver, its nice here where I live (London, ON), so I can't exactly say I feel sorry for you ;). Its actually been quite gorgeous here lately. A bit hot, but the past few days have been just right (actually I just had my University graduations, so the cooler weather was very nice because of all the suits, and gowns, and junk we had to wear... I can't imagine wearing all that while its 35 degrees with a 40 humidex ;)).

P.S. I always smile whenever you list a Pink Floyd song in your song list. Everyone around here always pokes fun at me whenever I mention them, so its nice to see that I'm not alone :).

	Good luck with tha race if ya do go... I hear its winter in Australia... Should be nice... not to hot... And I'm not sure they get snow there :D And also good luck with findin a job... 	I'm looking at something in computer engineering, ASIC design spefically. Basically, designing computer chips. Sounds like it could be fun ;). Oh, and from what I've heard, "Winter" in Australia is still hotter than Summer around here... should be fun :D -- Tom (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Yeah, been very busy building that bloody solar car... just spent the past 2.5 hours soldering a PCB, and only did about 1/4 of it so far :S. Oh well, it'll be nice once its done though :). (Reply to this)(Parent)

I am glad that you enjoyed the Batman Begins movie, I am planning to see it myself. And since you hold it in high regard, I am looking even more forward to viewing it.

I'd have to agree with you on Batman, I've just arrived home from seeing it myself. It appears we have a new trend: darker = better. And I used to think the first movie was pretty dark! Well compared to the other three at least it was! Everyone gave outstanding performances, even Mrs. Cruise to be (as you may have heard by now). Christian Bale's got the jaws of Batman don't you think? He's definitely scarier that the others before him.

Hey K8ie... Long time no speak...

I've read nottin but good reviews of this new Batman movie... I'm gonna be watchin it (yes, in theatres :D) later this day... I think I read sumwhere that tha movie is 140 minutes long... :)

Oh... Don't be bitter when U've finished Harry Potter 5... Tha 6th book is comin out next month... I think... I'm gettin tha 6th book 4 my dad as soon as tha Dutch version is released... Which is... 5 months past father's day and his B-day :D ... But he doesn't care... Just as long as he gets that book :) ... I guess I'll take him to see Harry Potter 4 at tha movies aswell then...

Well... I hope ur able to manage all those things at once... if not... Maybe ya should consider slowin down a notch... but... we all know thats not gonna happen ;)

Ok, so I just finished watching Final Destination 2 for like the 15th time and I decided to look up the cast on IMDB (That's what I do whenever an actor/actress looks familiar). Anyway, weird in itself, a number of them turn out to be Canadian. That's cool I think. But the main weird thing is that almost all the main characters have guest starred on Smallville or Stargate SG-1 at some point in time. Now that I thought was weird. Now to bring me to my point (I know I know... longwinded). While looking through the list of guest stars for SG-1, I found your name in episode 14 of season one and episode 2 of season two. You played a character named Cassandra. Now I watched the first few seasons of SG-1 religiously, and for the life of me I do not remember seeing you in the show. It's weird huh? The coincidences that arise? It's like when you try to figure out those Six Degrees of Separation thingies. Anyway. I thought it was interesting and decided to post. Have a good one!

Wow. This is funny. I haven't got any experience with writing in blogs, especially not of girls, especially especially not of girls I have (however so slightly) crushes on, especially especially especially not of girls I have (however so slightly) crushes on and who've I've seen on TV! ;) ;) Just to indicate that writing here is weird for me, and I have don't believe that this is really Katie Stuart, THE Katie Stuart. Okay, in the last post, I asked about the fame-not-famous thing, and i get it now after reading your interview on radiofree.com (not that I really expected an answer ... ;-P ... but still.) You're right, the guy doesn't lack depth, which I suppose is kinda nice. (He even made Buffy look good! ;) I'm surprised though, that you'd get so much 'who's sleeping with who' interviews.

A general question for everybody: What ever happened to Olivia Cole and has she got a website?
And sorry if my previous post (under anonymous) sounds a bit outdated.

Good show, angelWS, it was indeed kinda hard to find that interview, especially if you consider that it was so recent. There is no apparent direct link on the homepage of that site. Or, I overestimate my powers of obsevation ;) It goes to show that there's definitely a rank order in Hollywood, in which, I'm sad to say, Katie doesn't seem all that important. Granted, in the line up of Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Charisma Carpenter, Shannon Elizabeth, Neve Campbell, Angelina Jolie, Cameron Diaz, Rebecca Romijn, Famke Janssen, Salma Hayek, Heather Graham, Piper Perabo, Patricia Arquette, Denise Richards, Courteney Cox, Elizabeth Hurley, Elisabeth Shue and Gillian Anderson (direct links), Katie is very much the junior. So you actually managed to stop playing World of Warcraft? While that's pretty sad on the one hand side it's just as impressive on the other hand side. Yeah - That game eats up way too much time. I meanwhile have 4 characters. One of them is a level 60 nightelf priest. I'm playing another char together with Angel, which is a lot of fun. ^^
Hmmm...There was somuch more interesting stuff in that interview to ramble about. But it was just too much to remember at this time of the day (3:19 am). So I'll prolly have to get back to that another time.

	If his website has been updated with a show he is doing, and he is online. Then obviously he must be alive, and most likely is just too busy to reply at the moment. If anything serious has happened to him, I am sure it would have been stated by now. Wow, it's so cool, I'm watching my third Katie movie now, 'A wrinkle in time', after Trapped and the Magicians House. They broadcast it's like a mini-series here in the Netherlands. Okay, I saw some ep's of The Crow, but that don't count.

The only thing is, Katie seemed 'smaller' (in certain respects) in this movie than in Trapped?? How is that possible? Is it the clothing?

I wonder if she had a BF or if Greg Smith had GF while shooting this film? Does she ever talk about that?

	...which is the same site that the messageboard is on. But yeah... It's almost dead. When Katie and her mom and her aunt stopped posting there things went on for about 1 or 2 years and then the main activity moved to the messageboard at katiestuart.net .
